Post 1 (11/3-4/25) TRIP OVER AND ARRIVAL

The trip over was smooth, fun, and exciting. I got a business class ticket round trip for only 100,000 United miles, and flew on Swiss International Air Lines (for the first time), who turned out to be really great!

I walked right up to the check-in counter with NO LINE. Walked up to security with NO LINE. Breezed through all that. Was invited into the United Polaris Lounge, which was a pretty nice place for a luxury wait for my flight. Here are some videos and photo from the SFO experience and boarding the flight to Zurich (for my connection to Madrid).

The food was really good in the lounge! Gotta make my way over to the gate. But on the way out of the lounge:

And on my way to the gate:

And as far as on the plane:

My transfer in Zurich was kind of fun and wild! Haha

Then I arrived at Hotel Montera Madrid, which is a really cool place to stay; especially the staff are super cool!!

I was only here 5 minutes to drop off my stuff and freshen up, then went to the gay bar where old men are supposed to be (which is 2 blocks away, of course), found Ramon, met him, and left with him after like 3 minutes! haha I spent the night at his place (kind of wasted my hotel room, oh well):

He walked me back to the hotel in the morning and I got this little video:

I got cleaned up from my long, wild night at his place (with no toothbrush etc.!), and followed the advice of Two Gay Expats (whom I love as travel vloggers on YouTube) and went to a great acai bowl place. I addressed these videos to them:

And the cappuccino was "lovely" (I took one sip before I remembered to take the pic):

I'll leave off there, and pick up in the next entry at the point when Bill's nephew Ronald arrived from Germany to join me for a couple days here in Madrid. Stay tuned..... 💙😎🙏
